(Artificial Graphite)
Synthetic graphite is artificially produced by heating petroleum coke to temperatures above 2,500°C in an ultra-high temperature environment. This high-temperature treatment significantly reduces the impurities originally present in the raw materials. Consequently, synthetic graphite offers advantages over natural graphite, including lower impurity content and easier control over structure and properties during the synthesis process. Synthetic graphite is used in various fields including steelmaking and steel refining, secondary batteries, reactors, automotive (brushes, bearings), solar energy, electronics (molds), and aerospace.
